This policy explains how NAMA Technologies ("we", "us") handles personal data submitted through namatech.co.ke. We process personal data in line with the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019.
What we collect
- Project requests: name, company, email, phone, country, preferred contact method, project details, budget range, timeline and any files you choose to attach.
- Consultation bookings: name, company, email, phone, topic, preferred date and time and meeting type.
- Contact messages: name, email, optional phone, subject and message.
- Website usage: daily counts of page actions such as button clicks and form submissions. These counts contain no names, cookies or visitor identifiers.
Why we use it
Only to respond to your request, prepare proposals, arrange consultations and keep a record of our communication with you. Our lawful basis is your consent and steps taken at your request before entering into a contract.
Who can see it
Only authorised NAMA Technologies team members, through a password-protected system that logs important actions. We use trusted service providers to host the website and database (Cloudflare) and to send emails (Resend). We do not sell your data.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a project are kept for up to 24 months, then deleted. Client records are kept for the duration of our engagement and as required by law.
Your rights
You may ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw consent, by emailing info@namatech.co.ke. You may also lodge a complaint with the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit, access is restricted by role, and uploaded files are checked by type and size before storage.
